Small by design.
MoonShift Labis a software engineering and AI studio based in Germany, built on more than a decade of engineering inside large enterprise environments. The kind of systems where downtime has a price tag and “works on my machine” isn't an answer. The studio exists to bring that standard to founders and product teams who need things built right the first time.
We stay deliberately small. Typical agencies scale by adding layers of account managers, juniors, and hand-offs, and every layer dilutes both quality and truth. We scale by saying no: few projects, full attention, direct communication. You get experienced engineering judgment, including the times the honest answer is “don't build this yet.”
Lately most of our work involves AI systems: getting language models to do useful, measurable work inside real products. It's the most interesting engineering problem in years, and the one with the widest gap between demo and production. Closing that gap is what we sell.
